Beacon Academy online learning is both flexible and available from virtually anywhere, any time. Imagine having the ability to send your trainer to multiple locations simultaneously, while keeping the content consistent across the board. Would you like having a trainer available day and night? How about having a trainer that makes house-calls? E-learning can do just that and more. Students are able to learn at their own pace, and have the opportunity to view scenarios based on real life examples.
You can easily create customized course packages to meet your specific needs. You may choose individual courses, one or more learning tracks, or the entire series for the most comprehensive training.

At the end of each course, you will be able to check your understanding through a series of questions. You will receive immediate feedback after each question and an overall score at the end of the course. You may also be eligible to earn CE credits after successful completion of the course.
Finally, Beacon Academy administrative features allow you to manage staff learning by enrolling staff and monitoring their progress.

How to enroll into e-learning courses
Enrollment is easy, and takes only 3 steps: 1) Select your best option, 2) Log in and 3) pay for tuition. See below for further details on each step.
You start by going to our Course Catalog page.
Select what option is best for you, and add it to your shopping cart. You may choose an individual course, a track (bundle of two or more courses on a topic) or the complete series. For descriptions on these click on the tabs. For more details, next to the course/track/series name, select the Description button.

Pay for tuition. If you pay online with a credit card, you will be able to start enrolling into courses right away. Otherwise, you may pay by check.
Can I sign up just one person?
Yes. You can sign up one person into any course, track or to the complete series.
Can I purchase a course and then sign up someone other than myself?
Yes. You can purchase a course, track or the complete series, and assign it to another person. To assign courses/tracks/series, you will need the email address of each individual.
Can I sign up a group?
Yes. First, determine the size of the group. The number of individuals in the group will be the number of “seats” or courses/tracks/series that you will need to purchase. To assign courses/tracks/series, you will need the email address of each individual.
Do I need special software or hardware?
The courses are available online. All you need is a computer with an internet connection and an Internet browser. Although most Internet browsers have all you need, it may be a good idea to check with your IT department about custom settings at your agency or in your system that may prevent you from being able to log on to our courses. Here is what you can share with your IT department:
